The Knights Templar were legendary warriors. In the medieval era, knight templars undoubtedly a monastic military order. They were in charge of safeguarding pilgrims in Jerusalem and on their way to the Holy Land. The Templars took part in numerous battles and Crusades, as well as developing a banking system.
In history, the Templars were great “monks.” Templars have amazing war tactics and are fiercely loyal to their flag. The history of the Knights Templar is still study today. Monks now construct massive castles. Templar architecture is one of the most fascinating aspects.
Some of the most interesting aspects of their design:
Battlements: It is a defensive structure, such as city walls or castles, or structures build on top of castles.
Concentric: It is a favorite castle among the Knights Templar. A castle is define as a structure with two or more curtain walls, at least one of which is higher than the other. Both sides used these walls to defend themselves against intruders. They had been entrapped.
Gatehouse: The castle gatehouse was one of the most defensive parts of any mediaeval fortress. The Gatehouses are the Castle’s most defensive structure. To deter intruders, gatehouses usually had a variety of traps and obstacles.
The Great Hall:
A royal palace’s main space was called a great hall. This is the castle or hall house of a nobleman. This hall was used by the family for eating and relaxing.
So, Inside castles, a keep is a type of fortified tower. The keep was either a single tower or a larger fortify enclosure. It’s a colossal central structure. So, in the case of an attack, if all defensive collapses used this, the attack would be successful.
