The Founding of the Knights Templar, About 1118, Hugues de Payens, a French knight, along with eight relatives and associates. They created the Poor Knights of the Temple, a military order. The purpose of the Knight Templer is to protect European travelers visiting sites in the Holy Land while also carrying out military operations. They established headquarters on Jerusalem’s sacred Temple Mount. They are digging around the mountains maybe to found something or to hide something.

When the Knight Templer found in the starting many religious leaders can be criticized. Knight templar gets the support of Bernard of Clairvaux that writes about the rule of a knight templar.

In 1139, Pope Innocent II issued a Papal Bull granting special privileges to the Knights Templar. The Templars were not required to pay taxes.

Knight templars give special training. They don’t give up in any situation. The Knights Templar set up a prosperous network of banks and gained enormous financial influence. Religious pilgrims could deposit assets in their home countries and withdraw funds in the Holy Land using their banking system.

No doubt the Knight templars is a great warrior in history. Many novels, movies made in knight templars’ life.
